Why i love the periodic table

1. its never going to change (apart from random new elements made in labs added on the end of
the list)
2. its all organised perfectly all the patterns and similarities in colums and rows is amazing. The
fact that scientists predicted the properties of some elements before they were discovered is
down to the realisation of the periodic table.
3. everything in the world from a monkey to a tree to the air we breathe is made from the
elements in the periodic table.
4. it all fits on one piece of paper that you can fit in your pocket. like having the whole world in
your pocket.
5. that the same elements can be found in many different forms. e.g a chair and my eye both
have Carbon in them
6. that you can predict how elements are going to react with each other without taking them into
a lab because of the periodic table and what it shows.
